My mum’ cooking. Her chicken rice and nee soto are killers! Her
spaghetti makes me melt! (I wish I could cook like her!)

Juicy strawberries and lots of crunchy Gala apples! Long John Silvers’ cheese fries! (I am getting hungry just thinking of it!)

I have my MP3 player, my sister’s makeup (I don’t have any), my cute handphone, tissue paper.

My crazy hair! It makes me stand out from the crowd!

Which is the most memorable thing you’ve ever done for your dad/mum?
Getting this far in Singapore Idol. My dad is seriously ecstatic and my mum really wants me to do well.

What is your fondest recent memory?
Getting through the auditions in front of the judges for the first time! It was a really close shave! I could have been kicked out if I did not sing the second song well. Thank goodess they gave me a chance! Phew!

If you could be an animal, what would you be?
An eagle! I want to fly! I want to be strong! (But I cry a lot…)

What are the 5 things you want to do before reaching 30?
Be a successful singer, actress, fashion designer, wife and a mother.

What makes you nervous? Why?
Before a performance, I get nervous to the point of breaking down as I only want to give my best and I am scared I won’t be able to impress the judges.

What is the worse thing a friend could do to you?
Being two- faced!

If you could change one stereotype people had of you, what would it be?
That I am unfriendly and a loner because I am friendly once you get to know me!

If you can be anyone in the world, who would you choose to be? Why?
Myself. No matter how imperfect I am, I am happy being who I am.

What do you think you have that makes you stand out from the other finalists?
My wacky hair (I cut it myself at first!), own style, loud voice and personality.

What qualities do you think the next Singapore Idol should possess?
Perseverance to undergo all the criticisms.

What are some things you have learnt from this competition?
That 1 should not rest even for a second. And song choice is definitely very fundamental!

Who is your favourite judge, and why?
Tough one. Either Dick Lee or Ken Lim. Dick lee makes me feel at ease with myself as he enjoys my performance. And even though Ken Lim always 'kicks my butt' , he makes me ponder and think of what I lack and I think that is constructive.
